Rec. Dept. accepting donations for Easter Egg Hunt
The Germantown Park & Recreation Department is accepting donations for their 18th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt–for school district children ages 1-7–is set for Saturday, March 31, at 12:15 p.m. sharp at Firemen’s Park.
The Rec. Dept. is asking area businesses and service organizations for donations or for volunteers to help out on the day of the event. Donations are needed in the form of bags of candy (wrapped candies only), prizes (stuffed bunnies, coloring books, plastic eggs, small toys, etc.) or money donations. In the past, approximately 650 children participated in the hunt, so it is estimated that at least 500 bags of candy will be needed this year.
Donations can be dropped off at the Village Hall, or arrangements to have them picked up can be made. For more information, call the Rec. Dept. at (262) 250-4710.
