Contested elections for School Board, County Board

There will be three contested races for the Germantown School Board.
The general election for nonpartisan county, municipal, school district and judicial posts will be held April 3.
There are three seats up for election on the Germantown School Board. Thomas Bowe is the only incumbent seeking re-election to the board and he is being challenged for seat 7 by Thomas Barney.
In seat 1, Christina Wolf-Lang and Sarah Larson are seeking to join the board, filling the post that will be vacated by Kim Fischer. Fischer opted not to seek re-election but did not submit non-candidacy papers in time. As a result, the time period for candidates to submit papers for seat 1 was extended to 5 p.m. Jan. 6.
Both seat 1 and seat 7 on the Germantown School Board are for three-year terms. In addition, two candidates have filed to fill out the remaining year for seat 6, which was vacated when Michael Erdmann resigned from the School Board last fall. Cari Brust, who was appointed to fill the seat until the next election, opted not to seek the post. Gregory Anderson and Michael Loth have both filed papers for seat 6.
There will be contested elections in three of the four seats on the Germantown Village Board. In District 4, incumbent Art Zabel is being challenged by John Hoell. Incumbents Terri Kaminski (District 1), Daniel Wing (District 2) and Al Vanderheiden (District 3) are running unopposed.
In Richfield, two seats are for election on the Village Board. Incumbents Michael Shea and Dan Neu are seeking re-election while Gilbert Frank and Bill Collins are seeking to join the board.
Washington County Supervisor Bill Meyers is being challenged in his re-election bid while all five of the incumbent county supervisors from Germantown are running unopposed.
Meyers is being challenged by Donald Kriefall for the District 24 seat. County supervisors running unopposed in Germantown are Daniel Goetz (District 25), Mel Ewert (District 26), Dennis Myers (District 27), Peter Sorce (District 28) and Leslie Borman (District 30). The only contested County Board election in Germantown is for District 29, for which incumbent Todd Healy filed non-candidacy papers. Troy D. Schmidt and Mark R. Bertieri are seeking to succeed Healy.
