The Hartford girls basketball team improved its overall record to 10-4 following a 58-51 nonconference win over Oshkosh North Jan. 31. Maria Stephans and Kayla Krassman both scored 16 points for the Orioles.
Four days earlier the Orioles beat Watertown 41-29, Krassman led Hartford with 14 points.
Hartford is now in third place in the WIsconsin Little Ten Conference with a 4-3 record.
Slinger dropped to 3-4 in the Little Ten and 7-7 overall following a 42-37 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran Jan. 31.
West Bend West beat building foe West Bend East Jan. 27, 41-37. West's Meghan Conley led all scorers with 18 points while Hailey Krewald led East with nine points.  Afterward, West had a 2-5 conference record and 5-8 overall mark while East remained winless in conference.
Kettle Moraine Lutheran improved its record to 10-1 in the Wisconsin Flyway Conference and 13-1 overall after two conference wins in three days.
On Jan. 26, Andrea Meinert scored 14 points while Meghan Niemann and Mikayla Voigt both added 11 points in a 69-37 win over Horicon. On Jan. 28, the Chargers' Sarah Jo Basse led all scorers with 19 pints while Meinert and Niemann added 10 points in a 65-39 win over Mayville.
Living Word Lutheran improved its overall record to 10-4 following a 67-32 nonconference win at Sheboygan Christian Jan. 30. Chanel Stelmachowicz led Living Worth with 17 points.

Slinger was third in the Little Ten Conference following a 52-41 win over Watertown Jan. 31. Kirk Emmer led all scorers with 23 points.
West Bend East was sixth in the Little Ten with a 3-5 conference record and 5-10 overall mark after a 62-49 loss at Beaver Dam Jan. 31. Blake Wiskirchen led West with  13 points.
Hartford had a 4-12 overall record following a 68-56 loss at Oconomowoc Jan. 31. West Bend East had a 4-13 overall record following a 62-45 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran Jan. 31.
Living Word Lutheran had a 1-13 overall record following a 74-46 loss to Brookfield Academy Jan. 27.
Kettle Moraine Lutheran had a 7-8 overall record following a 87-83 nonconference loss at Watertown Luther Prep Jan. 31. Austin Bublitz led Kettle Moraine Lutheran with 25 points.
On Jan. 27 the Chargers dropped to 5-5 in the Flyway Conference following a 56-50 loss to Laconia. Bublitz led the Chargers with 14 points.

The Kettle Moraine Lutheran girls basketball team was second in the Flyway Conference standings with a 8-1 conference record and 11-1 overall mark after a 74-37 win at Omro Jan. 20. Andrea Meinert led the Chargers with 16 points.
Hartford was fourth in the Little Ten Conference with a 3-3 conference record and 8-4 overall record after a 60-44 loss at Beaver Dam Jan. 19. Maria Stephans led Hartford with 15 points.
Slinger was fifth in the Little Ten with a 3-3 conference record and 7-6 overall mark following a 49-32 loss to Pewaukee Jan. 24. Ashley Freeman led Slinger with 15 points.
West Bend West had a 4-8 overall record following a 63-46 loss to Fond du Lac Jan. 21. West's Meghan Conley led all scorers with 19 points.
West Bend East had an 1-11 record following a 47-44 loss to West Bend East Jan. 24. Hailey Krewald led East with 13 points.

West Bend East had a 1-6 conference record and 4-11 overall mark after a 63-55 loss at Greenfield Jan. 24. Landon Diel led East with 18 points. Hartford had a 3-11 overall record following a 48-46 loss to Mukwonago Jan. 24.
Kettle Moraine Lutheran was fifth in the Flyway Conference with a 5-4 conference record and 7-6 overall mark after a 49-44 loss at Winnebago Lutheran Jan. 24. The Chargers Austin Bublitz led all scorers with 27 points.
Living Word Lutheran had a 1-6 Midwest Classic Conference North Division record and a 1-11 overall mark after a 62-39 loss to Wayland Academy Jan. 24.

The Kettle Moraine Lutheran girls basketball team stayed on top of the Flyway Conference standings while also being ranked third in the state coaches poll.
The Chargers opened last week with a 63-34 win over Laconia.  Sarah Jo Basse led the Chargers with nine points. Afterward, Kettle Moraine Lutheran had a 10-0 record.
Slinger started last week third in the Little Ten Conference with a 3-1 conference record and 9-2 overall mark.  The Owls beat West Allis Hale in a nonconference game Jan. 10. Slinger's Andrea Held led all scorers with 18 points.
Hartford was fourth in the Little Ten with a 2-2 conference record and 7-3 overall mark. On Jan. 10 Hartford beat Grafton, 39-29 in a nonconference matchup. Kayla Krassman led Hartford with 12 points.
West Bend West was seventh and West Bend East was eighth in the Little Ten at the start of last week.
Living Word Lutheran lost to Sheboygan Area Lutheran, 59-46 Jan. 9 in a nonconference game. Rachel Scholz led Living Word with 12 points.

Boys results
West Bend East beat Kettle Moraine Lutheran 49-40 in a nonconference match Jan 9. The Suns Zach Decent led all scorers with 17 points while Luke Scheuerlein led the Chargers with 12 points. Afterward, East had an overall record of 3-8 while Kettle Moraine Lutheran had an overall record of 6-4.
West Bend West had a 3-7 overall record following a 62-59 win over Port Washington Jan. 10. West's Jack Meurer led all scorers with 23 points.
Slinger had a 3-2 Little Ten record and 7-4 overall mark prior to hosting Beaver Dam Dec. 13.
Hartford had a 2-9 overall record prior to a Jan. 12 game at West Bend West.
Living Word Lutheran opened last week with a 54-50 loss at Sheboygan Christian and followed that with a 53-30 loss at Random Lake the next evening. Afterward, Living Word had overall record of 1-8.

The West Bend East girls basketball team got its first win of the season Dec. 29, as Hailey Krewald scored 12 points to lead the Suns to a 42-33 victory over Greendale at the Niki Doedens Holiday Tournament in Cedarburg.
The previous evening the Suns lost to Plymouth 53-29. East currently has an overall record of 1-7.
West Bend West had a 2-5 overall record after beating Campbellsport Dec. 29 in its lone game over the holiday break. Meghan Conley led all scorers with 22 points.
Slinger split its games at the Ashwaubenon Holiday Classic Dec. 28-29. The Owls opened the tournament with a 58-26 loss to Algoma Dec. 28 but followed it up with a 46-32 win over Ashwaubenon the next day. Andrea Held scored 12 points to lead Slinger in the loss to Algoma and led all scorers with 18 points against Ashwaubenon the next day. Afterward, Slinger had an overall record of 5-3.
Hartford won both of its games at the North Fond du Lac tourney Dec. 28-29. The Orioles topped Oakfield 53-33 on Dec. 28 and follow that up with a 51-37 win over North Fond du Lac the next day. Sara Spuler led Hartford 14 points against Oakfield   while Kayla Krassman was the leasing scorer in the North Fond du Lac game with 14 points. Afterward, Hartford had an overall record of 6-2.

Boys results
Hartford split its games at the Brookfield Central Luke Homan Memorial Holiday Tournament Dec. 29-30. On Dec. 29, the Orioles lost to Milwaukee Bay View, 49-46. Tony Dallman led Hartford with 13 points.  The next day Hartford beat Nicolet 54-49. Nick Holzman led all scorers with 16 points.
The Orioles opened January with a 58-55 loss to West Bend West Jan. 3. Ryan Boinski led Hartford with 20 points while West's Jack Meurer led all scorers with 27 points. After the Jan. 3 game Hartford had a 2-8 overall record while West had a 2-7 record.
In its only game over the holiday break West lost to Plymouth 61-52. Erik Engstrom led West with 21 points.
Slinger opened January with a 61-52 win over West Bend East Jan. 3. Slinger's Kirk Emmer led all scorers with 14 points while Zach Decent led East with 11 points. Afterward, Slinger had an overall record of 6-4 while East's record was 2-8.
Over the holiday break Slinger lost to Hortonville 53-50 at the Shawano Classic Dec. 37.
In its only game over the holiday break East beat Sheboygan Falls 62-60. Trenton Rehman led East with 16 points.

The West Bend East girls basketball team came within four points of Kettle Moraine Lutheran Dec. 23 before the Chargers rallied and put the game out of reach for the Suns, as the Chargers won 49-33.

Trailing 23-13 at halfime the Suns outscored the Chargers 9-3 in the opening minutes of the third quarter, as two free throws by Hailey Krewald cut the Chargers lead to 26-23. The Chargers responded with two baskets to up the lead to 32-45 at the end of the third quarter.

The Chargers then outscored the Suns 14-2 to start the fourth quarter and put the game out of reach.

Meghan Niemann of Kettle Moraine Lutheran led all scorers with 18 points while Krewald led East with 10 points.

Kettle Moraine Lutheran entered the Christmas berak with a 8-0 overall record while West Bend East had an 0-6 overall record prior the Cedarburg Classic, which was held Dec. 28-29.

The Kettle Moraine Lutheran girls basketball team remained undefeated at the start of last week while also climbing up the state coaches poll.
The Chargers defeated Saint Mary Springs 66-20 Dec. 20. Karlee Schneiss and Meghan Niemann both led Kettle Moraine Lutheran with nine points each.
The previous Thursday, the Chargers’ Andrea Meinert was the leading scorer with 18 points in a 53-38 win over North Fond du Lac.
Prior to its Dec. 23 game at West Bend East, Kettle Moraine Lutheran had a 7-0 record while also being ranked fourth in the state Division 3 coaches poll.
West Bend East remained winless in five games after a 55-29 loss to Oconomowoc Dec. 20.
West Bend West had a 1-4 overall record after losing at Slinger 32-23 Dec. 16. Andrea Held led Slinger with 22 points while Meghan Conley led West with 10 points.
Slinger was fourth in the Little Ten Conference with a 2-1 conference record and 4-2 overall mark after a 53-26 loss at Hartford Dec. 20. Held led Slinger with five points while Kayla Krassman led Hartford with 18 points. Maria Stephans contributed 14 points for the Orioles.
Afterward, Hartford was third in the Little Ten with a 2-1 conference record and 4-2 overall mark.
Living Word Lutheran had a 5-1 overall record and 2-0 record in the Midwest Classic Conference North Division after a 66-4 win over Hope Christian Dec. 20.

Boys results
Kettle Moraine Lutheran entered the Christmas break with a 4-1 Flyway Conference record and 6-2 overall mark.  On Dec. 20 the Chargers defeated host Kewaskum 37-33.
Slinger was third in the Little Ten Conference with a 2-1 record and 5-2 overall mark after a 60-58 win at West Bend West Dec. 15. Slinger's Kirk Emmer led all scorers with 16 points. Afterward, West Bend West remained winless in six games.
Hartford was sixth in the Little Ten with a 0-2 conference record and 1-5 overall mark after a 55-39 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran Dec. 15. Armilles Terry led Hartford with 10 points.
West Bend East remained winless in three Little Ten games while having a 1-6 overall mark after 60-40 loss at Beaver Dam Dec. 15.
Living Word Lutheran got its first win of the season Dec. 19 with a 46-41 win over Hope Christian. Caleb Cain led Living Word with  11 points.
